Internship Description:
Perpetual Motion Fitness Corporation (www.pmfc.com), a startup fitness & technology company recently launched its first product, inerTRAIN (www.inerTRAIN.com), an online virtual personal training service. The intern will work on the production aspect of various fitness videos, reporting to the Chief of Operations. In addition, the intern will be exposed to all aspects of a startup business, and may be asked to assist with other projects.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Strong interest in the field of health, fitness, and wellness
· Knowledge of Panasonic LEICA AG-DVX100BP Camera-Recorders
· Knowledge of lighting methods
· Extensive knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Quicktime, and Photoshop
· PowerPoint experience
· Any fitness experience, such as gym time, training, or fitness filming
· Physically in shape (you will be representing a fitness company in front of potential customers)
· Creativity; Ability to think outside the box and come up with unique solutions to common problems
· Self-motivated, not afraid to ask questions
· Flexibility, ability to quickly learn and adapt
· Working knowledge of technology devices, email, MS Office

Internship Description:
Perpetual Motion Fitness Corporation (www.pmfc.com), a startup fitness & technology company recently launched its first product, inerTRAIN (www.inerTRAIN.com), an online personal training service. The intern will work on PR/Communications campaigns and report to the Director of Communications. He/She will be focusing on the company’s PR, social media, and communications plans as well as several other marketing, sales, and business development projects to attract new customers, which may include presentations to other organizations or companies. In addition, the intern will be exposed to all aspects of a startup business.
Primary Job Duties:
1. Public relations
- Help author press releases
- Assist the Director of Communications with pitching stories to media outlets, as well as responding and reacting to media stories in the relevant fields.
2. Social media
- Assist the Director of Communications with managing inerTRAIN’s social media schedule and execute the schedule with relevant and exciting content developed by the inerTRAIN team and network
- Help enhance the social media presence through new channels and extending existing channels
3. Marketing communications
- Develop marketing communication materials targeted to trainers and clients in conjunction with the marketing and business development teams
- Work with partners to provide marketing materials/communications to support promotion of inerTRAIN
